5) Museum Volunteer Opportunities

The Museum has volunteers of all ages that assist in the following:

• Model Railway development and operation - Derrel Brereton is the coordinator of this group



• Backup Tour Guide Assistants for railcar tours



• Lead Tour Guides for railcar tours working with Museum regular tour guides



• Special Events in the Royal Alexandra Hall, sponsored by the Museum involving tea, coffee, and other simple beverages with scones as part of the train tours and for special museum-sponsored events such as smaller receptions and the Annual General Meeting. (All other "rental" events are catered) - Jean MacAulay is the coordinator for this group
