Rail Excursions in the Area
- The
Royal Canadian Pacific. On a 3 1/2 day circle route out of Calgary,
on this exclusive train aboard restored royal cars of the Canadian Pacific
Railway journey through two passes in the Canadian Rockies, with a
stop directly at the Canadian Museum of Rail Travel for a visit.
- Special Steam Excursions by CPR #2816 - "The Empress"
Special Excursion tickets are being provided from Invermere to Cranbrook on
Tuesday , Oct 7 and from Cranbrook to Fernie on Wed Oct.8, 2008. PLease see
the excursion brochure with times, prices, and special events including a
reception and dinner in the Royal Alexandra Hall while the train is parked
on the Museum's excursion tracks overnight on Tuesday.
